The money box workshop
About this event
"Are you interested in teaching your children about money? Are you looking for a fun and engaging atmosphere for them to learn the concepts of money? Are YOU interested in learning about budgeting, credit score increase, real estate investing, and more?
Look No further!
Visionary Crystal McLean and co-host Kishanna Heyward have teamed up with the Fayetteville Arts Council to teach about money in a fun and creative way. The two local-best-selling financial literacy Authors & Financial Literacy Advocates have partnered together to educate, empower, and enrich their community. Author Crystal McLean has a passion to teach children and families about creating healthy money habits, and financial guru Kishanna Heyward advocates and teaches about credit management, generational wealth from investing, and much more. Together, these two powerhouses have created the opportunity for both children and parents to be financially equipped for their futures!
While the children are creating money masterpieces in their own workshops, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to learn about financial concepts, such as credit establishment, budget creation, debt management, and more for free.
This event is geared toward children 7-14 years of age and the parent/guardian of those children. Parents’ admission is free and food will be provided. Free resources will be given to participants throughout the event."
